If you've known me for long you know I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. I love it because I get to keep in touch with dear friends from college and high school, see pictures of their kids and keep up with their lives. I hate it because I get lax/naive/stupid whatever with people that I add as friends who don't really know me. We have lived in so many places and traveled so much we have "friends" from all over the world that I love to keep in touch with. Of course that wouldn't be possible without Facebook, so I am grateful for parts of it.
Benji and I are in a unique situation that not all people find them selves in. I hate it but how I am perceived online, on the surface by people who don't really know my heart, my struggles, my weaknesses and fears, they can and do judge me and my family by things I may say.
With that Benji would love if I cut all ties with the "online" world but I just can not do it completely.
And his point is valid. I am a person who tends to over share info because I just need to "get it out". I hate stuffing feelings down, I don't believe it's healthy, but I realize Facebook is not the best avenue for that, it has become the most convenient way though.
So I am slowly transitioning myself away from Facebook and over to Twitter and Instagram. I'll still keep my Facebook and still be on it, but I am having to be very limited in who I am "friends" with on Facebook. I have to honor my husband and protect my family. Our line of work keeps us in the public eye so much that it sometimes makes me paranoid and so Facebook has become more of a stressor in my life than a fun way to connect.
I have cut my friends list from 1, 070ish down to 660ish.... I SWEAR non of it was personal or vindictive. I just have to keep the list including just my friends I interact with on a daily basis (here in Greenville), family, friends from high school, friends from college, dear best friends I don't live around anymore, and of course just friends that I have grown to love and enjoy interacting with on Facebook.
I hate that it has come to this but it is the only way to control a situation that I felt was rapidly getting out of control.
Feel free to find me on Twitter and on Instagram.

Listen....
Seriously, If I seem moody it's because I am. Not only am I moody by nature (what woman OR man isn't?) haha. But I'm also "pregnant moody". So if I post something like, nobody likes me, I'm gonna eat worms just ignore it. MMMKK?
Anywhoo. My nausea has passed thank the LORD! I'm stretching full into the 2nd trimester with much more energy and killer headaches.
Jesse is pitiful sick this week. Last night his fever spiked to 104.2. I don't do fevers well. They scare me. It must be all the meningitis scares my family has had. I am super paranoid of one of my babies having a febrile seizure in the middle of the night and me not knowing. (irrational I know, but I've never claimed to be rational).
Our schedule has finally calmed down from the whirl wind summer. We have, thankfully, a few days of down time before all the fall schedules start back up with Church and school. I am looking forward to a regular schedule and looking forward to Emery getting back to school. She loves the social part and she learns so much, soaks everything up like a sponge. It's only 9am-12pm so it gives me a few hours alone with Jesse but I still have the rest of the day with both kiddos.
Next year Jesse will start MMO two days a week from 9am-1pm and Emery will be in (gasp) KINDERGARTEN! Holy moly, glad I'll have a new baby at home to keep me from being too upset. The best remedy for being sad about kids growing up is to keep having more babies! Ha!

This picture may be my life for a few more years but I know I will have plenty of alone time once all my chicks are in school. I just want to enjoy every season and be thankful that they grow, mature and learn. I'm just thankful they are healthy enough to move on to their next stages in life!
Obviously you all caught me at a good mood moment. Jesse's in bed, fever free at the moment. The dinner I cooked was a success and I'm heading to bed soon! The weekend is here for us starting today, that always helps me feel better. I know Benji has to work and I am thankful for his job, but life is just funner and easier with him here! It's a good thing to want your man home, right?

More About Baby #3
The destiny of our 3rd baby has already been sealed. I'm so busy with the 2 already here I barely have time to sit and think about him/her coming. Of course when I'm puking or late at night when I start to panic about being out numbered, I think about the baby a lot!
I'm 12 weeks and honestly am beginning to feel like I'm coming out of the 1st trimester fog. I'm not sure if it's all the phenergan I've ingested or if I'm actually getting over the nausea hump. Hopefully, it is the later.
I have really (surprisingly) enjoyed the summer with the kids (for the most part)...Jesse and Emery really are great kids, flexible, easy going and good sleepers and good eaters. Sure they have their moments but I know I am blessed with two great ones.
I've lost TWELVE POUNDS! Seriously!??? That should give you an idea of how horrible I have felt. I will, however, need those extra pounds lost to add back on in the end.
Although being pregnant with this 3rd child is challenging while wrangling the other two, I have to say that I am just as excited about this one as I have been with Emery and Jesse.
It never gets old knowing that a new life is going to be joining our family in a few months.
I actually felt a little nesting coming on today as I was spending time in the kitchen making lunch and prepping dinner. But of course I was distracted most of the day by two munchkins so I didn't get much scrubbing/cleaning/throwing out done...but hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have enough energy to get some stuff done (that has been neglected for the past 12 weeks).
Benji is working late tonight (surprise) so I put the kids to bed 30 minutes early. Hopefully I'll catch up on some reading and Pinteresting.....
Looking forward to fall and to finding out if there will be more pink or more blue coming!

11 Years
I realize my post have been sporadic this summer. It's because life is cray cray! I'm still battling the every day sickness that comes with pregnancy. Some days are better than others. Some are just plain awful. Thankfully I have friends with pools so we have been swimming at least once a week the past few weeks. Swimming wears the kids out and makes for a not so boring day for me. I have loved getting to hang out with my friends so frequently.
We have been in full swing with birthday parties, ministry, celebrating anniversaries and more ministry.
Emery is FOUR!!!! I can not possibly believe that I have a 4 year old. She and Jesse are playing together better and better every day. I'm excited for her school year to start but i know Jesse will miss her terribly.
Benji was in charge of a VBS in an impoverished part of S.C. Joanna, S.C. It made for some long days for him and for me and the kids! Emery did get to go to most of it and she loved it. We were at the beach when our church did VBS so I was glad she got the opportunity to experience it.
Today we are laying low and staying in the house. Emery is coloring and Jesse is being Mr. Destructo as usual. Friday I have another ultra sound, so hopefully I will have some more photos of baby #3 to share.

We celebrated our 11th anniversary this weekend. HOLY MOLY I can not believe it's been 11 years. We have accomplished a ton over those years but some times it does feel like we just got started.
We sent the kids to Georgia. Benji had middle school pastor's camp on Saturday but came home late afternoon so we headed out on the town. It was pouring rain just as we headed out so we joined the rest of Greenville at the mall for a few hours. It was fun just to walk around like the old days. We had dinner at The Lazy Goat , which was amazing. Definitely one of my favorites in Greenville.

Our Bean Is A Baby: 3rd Edition
It is so amazing how fast babies develop. 4 weeks ago this precious was just a bean looking thing on the ultrasound screen. Today A Baby. Heart beat was 165, even saw him/her wiggle around. So exciting! It doesn't get old, just as exciting as with Emery.
