So here is my attempt at a blog. Ive blogged on myspace, but this feels serious.....like the master's degree program of the blog world.
Any way, so I've been thinking about lowering my standards, lowering the bar, actually closing the bar. I have come to realize that I have impossible expectations for others, and even for myself. I expect to much and when others don't live up to my standards I am dissapointed and disallusioned. One of my professors once said that "perfectionism is not a positive trait." I expect perfection in every thing and I am learning that it is not possible, for me or anyone else.
Fall break is this week and I am so in need of a break. When we get back from break we only have six weeks left of the semester. I am so close to the end of my seminary career I can taste it.
