Celebrating A Decade

Benji and I just got back from our 10 year anniversary trip.

I love him more today than the day I married him.

Baby Grass

This has got to be my favorite new baby product, besides Sophie that I bought when Jesse was born.

I LOVE it! It looks so cute on my counter and it is functional. I don't have to worry about the bottles getting dirty again in the sink drying rack and I don't have to worry about the brush scrubber I use getting dirty.

I've got two close friends that just had babies, one has TWINS! and one has a baby girl. They may or may not be getting these two things...hint hint Jocie and Amanda! :)

My Heart Ache

I'm sitting in the bath tub, in luke warm water, waiting as my sister uploads pictures from my cousin's wedding.

This one pops up.

My heart seriously aches when I see it.

I love this little girl so much, yet she frustrates me almost every second of the day. Three is the hardest year yet.

It seems every thing, every day is a new battle. We are trying to find the balance between allowing her freedom to grow and the discipline she needs to flourish as a human.

VERY DIFFICULT.

I just...WE just want to get it right. We realize we have no do overs.

I want her to be kind, loving, successful, LOVED, fulfilled, content, confident, self assured, poised, polite, adventurous, driven, strong willed and a CHRIST FOLLOWER. Trying to instill these things in her at such a young age is an enormous task.

I love her more than my life. There is not a job in the universe, not a salary, not a mortgage payment, car payment ANYTHING that would keep me from staying home and raising her MYSELF during these formative years.

Well, I've got company coming over tomorrow...it's 10pm and this house ain't gonna clean itself.

Where Do I Live Again?

I swear, if maybe we stayed home once in awhile my house wouldn't look like a bomb went off.

Last weekend we headed up the mountain to Boone, N.C. for my cousin's wedding.

Boone is a beautiful town that we should visit more often. I wanted to stay longer sooo bad! The weather was perfect.

It was a fabulous time but WAYYY too fast! We only got to stay for one night because we had to be back in town for Church on Sunday.

We rolled into Greenville around 1230 am, crashed, then bolted to church for a full day.

Now I am completely behind in every area of my house hold duties.

Thankfully we are home for this weekend, only to be off again the next!

BIN112

Last week Benji and I finally got a chance to get away for a few hours to decompress from our crazy life.

We never went out for my birthday or our anniversary so we picked a new place to spend some quality time over some quality food.

BIN112 is in downtown Greer, so much easier to park than downtown Greenville. I love downtown Greenville but sometimes the parking just wears me out before we even get to our destination.

Dinner was amazing. We will definitely go back again.

First Day of K3!!!

Emery started her first day of K3 today! I'm not sure who was more excited me or her.

Right now Jesse is napping and I am actually blogging...BEFORE 12 am!!!

I just spent a long weekend with friends at the beach. Such a great time! We slept, ate, laid on the beach and talked and laughed a ton. The beach, good food and good friends are all a balm to my weary soul. Just what I needed after the last 2 weeks I've had.

Benji also got to attend the first game of the season for UGA. They didn't win, boo, but he had a great time and I'm so so glad he got to go.

Things are looking up finally in the Ladd home.

Jesse in his Georgia jersey.

The girls!

We did alot of this..
